Welcoming Drew Carney of 9 News as the 2026 Automezzi Emcee!

Drew Carney is a News Anchor on 9 NEWS Mornings here in Denver. He joined the team in January of this year, after spending 19 years with the same news company's station in Portland, Oregon. Prior to his time on the Anchor Desk, Drew was the face of the Station's "Out & About" series, producing & hosting live segments that included everything from flying with air show trick pilots and riding a bull, to getting tased by local police and leading the annual polar plunge for Special Olympics Oregon. Drew also earned a reputation as the area's go-to event emcee, helping raise millions of dollars for local non-profits and Children's Hospitals. He's a graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, where he was also born and raised... and is the proud father of twin boys, who will head off to college later this Summer.
