Congrats to Lou Ficco and his 2003 Ferrari Enzo, winner of the 2018 Automezzi Director's Cup. Ferrari made only 400 of these fire-breathing 6L V12 dragons that can roar by you at some 217 MPH, making it one of the world's fastest cars. If looks could kill, this car would be a serial killer. It is the ultimate in coolness and refined macho power. If Steve McQueen were a car, he would be this one.

Italian Marques Showcased at the Automezzi

    Over 100 vehicles on display

For 29 years the Automezzi has been known as the largest gathering of exotic Italian cars and motorcycles (vintage to current) in the Rocky Mountain region. Past displays have included a rare vintage 1913 Fiat alongside the current year's top selling marques. Other "two wheeled" participants have included Italian scooters and Italian bicycles. The Automezzi showcase is typically over 100 Italian exotics from the marques shown plus a few special guests in the Etceterini class. Registrants from each marque can choose to be judged -OR- be display only. Marques will be judged on exterior, interior, and overall design/styling. The Automezzi has incorporated a new scoring technology into the show for 2019 making the judging process very efficient for both judges and spectators. Awards will be given for 1st Place and Runner Up in each marque plus one Best of Show award and the coveted Director's Cup, which is a traveling award. Spectators can vote for unlimited favorites (because you will have LOTS of favorites!) but you can only cast one vote per vehicle in the People's Choice category. Please click on the marque if you wish to learn more or get local club info.

Our Esteemed Partners/Sponsors for this Event

A heartfelt "Thank You" goes out to the many partners and sponsors who help us in presenting the Automezzi each year. With their generous support we are able to produce the Automezzi, the largest Celebration of Italian Motoring in the Rocky Mountain Region. Sponsorship also allows us to support our benefactor JDRF in a more substantial way. The Automezzi community as a whole is a very generous group of car enthusiasts that are also supporting the event with each exhibitor booth, vehicle registration and individual donation. We are very proud of the tens of thousands of dollars given to JDRF over the years. We hope you will join us as a partner or sponsor!

Most Asked Questions About the Automezzi Event

The Registration Package (all vehicle types) includes 1 vehicle admitted to the field, 1 admission ticket for driver, 1 VIP Brunch Italiano ticket, 1 Official Autmezzi t-shirt and 1 goodie bag.
YES! You can register as many vehicles as you would like.  If you purchased the Package for your first vehicle registration you can choose the Vehicle Only Registration to add more vehicles at the discounted price.  Additional vehicle only registrations allow 1 additional vehicle and driver onto the field but will NOT receive the Brunch Ticket or T-shirt.  If you would like the “extras” for your additional registrations please register your additional vehicle/s at the package price as that is the best deal.  If you have special circumstances, contact us at to discuss options if you are bringing 3 or more vehicles!
The Automezzi is typically a “purist” show of all Italian marques but guest appearances from other exotics are always welcomed via an application process.  Prior to registering, we ask that Non-Italian vehicles contact us to make sure we have space in the Etceterini category for the vehicle to be showcased.  Inquiries can be sent to:
YES! Your guest just needs to pay the $7 Spectator Fee (save $2 by purchasing your guest’s gate fee in advance with your registration)
YES! All the “Extras” are listed on the order form when you register so it’s easy to add in advance and save!  Remember that the VIP Brunch is advance purchase only and the discounts are only if purchased in advance so be sure to purchase the extras in advance and save!
Show vehicles should arrive between the hours of 7am-8:30am to allow enough time to check in and get parked in your section on the field.  Enter from the main entrance to Jeffco Fairgrounds off the 6th Avenue Frontage Road.  Look for signage.
The criteria for the 1st Place and Runner Up judged awards in each marque category will be scored on a scale of 1-10 points based on exterior, interior and overall design/styling.  The average of all judges will be calculated to determine the winners. The Best in Show winner will be the vehicle that places the highest of all judges scores.  The Director’s Cup is chosen by the Director or person/s assigned by Director to select the new winner of the traveling Director’s Cup.  The Director’s Cup winner will be videotaped and featured on the Automezzi website for one year.  All vehicles on the field are eligible to win the coveted Director’s Cup even if signed up as Display Only.  The Peoples Choice criteria is based on the number of votes you receive.  The new judging technology we have implemented allows spectators to vote for as many of their favorites as they want but only once for each vehicle.  If you don’t want to be judged, simply choose display only on your registration.
For safety reasons, we ask all vehicles to stay until the close of the event at 1pm (just after the awards ceremony). Part of the closing ceremony is for all vehicles to “Start their Engines” for one final Automezzi Roar before vehicles exit.  We would like all to stay for that final farewell and allow staff time to clear spectators from the exit path at the end.  If inclement weather becomes eminent, we will allow vehicles to leave prior, but only with an escort if the field is packed with spectators.  Ask Automezzi staff for assistance if you need to leave early.

Gate opens at 9am and we close the event at 1pm with the final Automezzi Roar when all start their engines.  Spectators are not allowed into the event or onto the field at any time during the show load in.  The show will officially open with the National Anthem and Presentation of Colors by the Foothills Young Marines at 9:15am.
The gate admission fee is $7 on site or $5 if purchased in advance.  Please bring your EzRegister ticket with QR code via phone or printed to be scanned at entrance on event day.  100% of the gate proceeds go to JDRF.
Other activities include a Vendor Village for car enthusiasts, Artisan Fair with unique shopping, playground for kids, Bocce’ lawn games, live Italian music, Italian food and specialty Italian beverages plus more!
Exhibitors include businesses who offer products and services for car enthusiasts as well as artisans who sell hand made or unique products.
YES! Our catering partner Love Pop Experience will return with another fabulous VIP Brunch plus new breakfast concessions such as fresh baked pastries and savory breakfast sandwiches such as procuitto and parma twice baked croissant, Italian “sausage and peppers” breakfast panini and wood fired pizza made fresh on site for lunch!  We will have two beverage bars in the venue offering Italian beer, wine, mimosas, bellinis, bloody mary’s, pellegrino sodas and bottled water.  Concessions and bars will accept cash.  Net proceeds from the bars and tips benefit JDRF.
YES! These items are limited and sellout quickly so it’s best to order in advance to avoid disappointment.  Ordering in advance assures you will get the t-shirt size you want and a poster will be waiting for you at the show.
You just need a smart phone with a QR reader to vote for all your favorites! You can vote for as many as you want but you can only cast one vote for each participating vehicle.  Some registrants will choose to Display Only and won’t be recognized in the judging software.
Photographing the vehicles is allowed but we ask that you avoid photographing the license plates as a courtesy to the owners.  If you want to submit your photograph to the Automezzi Gallery, please do!  Our top 12 photos from the event are posted to the website each year.  If your photo is chosen you will win an Automezzi t-shirt!  Submit photographs to:
Yes! On the registration order form you will see an item to add whatever extra amount you wish for JDRF and they will receive 100% of any additional donation.
